Kendall Jenner Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 8 Interview

Question: What should we be expecting from this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians?

Kendall Jenner: You'll see a lot of Kim Kardashians's pregnancy and the relationship my Dad (Bruce Jenner) and Brody Jenner have with each other and how they go about regaining that relationship.

Question: Can you talk about what we'll see of you in season 8 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians?

Kendall Jenner: Viewers will see a lot of Kylie and I and our relationship along with the things that we like to do. You'll see my modelling as well as Kylie and I working on our clothing line.

Question: We're shown that you're striving for more independence from your sister, Kylie; why is that?

Kendall Jenner: Kylie and I are sisters and from the beginning we were always paired as one person and in this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians we show a lot of us splitting up and becoming our own individual people. We won't always be paired together.

Question: What do you enjoy most about your modelling career?

Kendall Jenner: I like a lot about modelling including being able to do different things; I love doing a photoshoot and seeing the finished product including how the pictures turned out which brings me a lot of satisfaction in knowing that I worked so hard that day. Seeing the finished product is really amazing, I love it!

Question: What challenges have you overcome in regards to your modelling career?

Kendall Jenner: I started modelling at an awkward stage of my life, I was going through puberty, I had braces and I was becoming a woman. I started at an awkward time and going through that was annoying as I look back and see those pictures, everywhere, and that's not what I want, anymore.

Question: Which campaign has been a favourite of yours to shoot?

Kendall Jenner: I actually recently did a photoshoot for AguaBendita Swimwear which is a Colombian bathing suit line and I loved it. I have only seen one picture but it was so fun to shoot!

Question: You recently shot for your brother's (Rob Kardashian) line ArthurGeorge; what do you like about his designs?

Kendall Jenner: Rob's (Kardashian) ArthurGeorge socks are really cool especially because they're different. I love his socks and I think ArthurGeorge was a really good idea for him.

Question: Can you tell us about your clothing line?

Kendall Jenner: Kylie and I love doing our clothing line and it has really grown into more of our style from the first collection we released; it's getting better and better with each collection which is very exciting. Pacsun is in stores now: www.pacsun.com

Question: What inspires you when designing?

Kendall Jenner: Usually seeing what other people wear and random ideas that come into our head inspires us when designing. Often we'll say 'I'd love for that to be in our clothing line" which inspires us to make our own design for the line. It's always something Kylie and I would wear.

Question: Do you believe that filming many seasons and spin-off shows of Keeping Up With The Kardashians has brought you closer together, as a family?

Kendall Jenner: We've always been very close as a family and that's how the show came about. However, filming the show has obviously bought us a little bit closer but, I think, we've always been really close.

Question: Do you ever find it difficult to watch back any of the episodes?

Kendall Jenner: No, I don't find it difficult but I do find it funny how little I was and the way I would dress (laughs).

Question: How is your house being prepared for the arrival of Kim Kardashian's baby girl, your niece?

Kendall Jenner: Yes, there is a room in my house which isn't finished yet; it's just been painted.

Question: Which of your siblings do you look to when you need advice regarding your career and boys?

Kendall Jenner: I look to all my siblings for different things. I think my Mum (Kris Jenner) is the best for asking about advice regarding my career and I'll also ask Kim because she is good with career advice. All of my siblings are great.

I'd go to any sibling for advice regarding boys, they all have different good advice.

Question: If one of your family members decided they didn't want to be a part of the show anymore, would you continue?

Kendall Jenner: Yes, I don't think one person affects everybody, I think if one person didn't want to, other people would still want to continue with the show.

Question: You're also writing a book with Kylie; can you tell us a little bit about the book, please?

Kendall Jenner: Yes, Kylie and I are writing a sci-fi novel but I can't stay much about it, at the moment.

Question: Why is it important for you to keep up with your fans via Twitter and other social network platforms?

Kendall Jenner: It's always important for me to keep in contact because my fans are the people who keep me going. I think it's nice to keep in contact. Even if I'm not always responding, because there are so many, I am always reading what they're saying and appreciating everything that they do and say.

Kylie and I have great fans, my whole family and I have great fans. We really appreciate them.

Question: What would we find in your handbag?

Kendall Jenner: Everybody always makes fun of me because I always carry handbags around with nothing ever in them (laugh)! I'm a simple person and it's usually just my phone and keys in my handbag.

Question: What's next for you in regards to your career?

Kendall Jenner: I am going to continue modelling and do my best.
