Singer/songwriter and Studio Disney host, Scott Cain, is about to embark on his first major national tour supporting pop sensation Hilary Duff during her Melbourne and Sydney shows later this month.
Scott Cain has just released his brand new album - entitled 'Roller Coaster' which features thirteen brand new tracks including the new single appropriately titled 'Hilary Duff'.
Co-written by Scott Cain, 'Hilary Duff' is an upbeat infectious style song with guitar driven melodies. It's a song that most kids and teenagers can relate to: having a celebrity crush. It's a fun track that playfully exhorts Scott's supposed crush on pop princess, Hilary Duff.
Scott was originally catapulted to fame following his historic win on the television program Popstars, where he became the world's first solo pop star to win on the popular reality program.
Scott went on to sell over 80,000 copies of his debut single 'Im Moving On' which debuted at the top of the charts and won Scott an ARIA No. 1 Chart Award.
Scott joined the Disney Channel in July 2003 as the host of the new locally produced kids' breakfast show 'AMTV on D' - the show that won Scott an ASTRA (Australian Subscription Television & Radio Association) Award for 'Favourite New Subscription Television Presenter' which was voted by from the general public.
In September this year, Scott made the move to the afternoon show, Studio Disney joining Asha Kuerten on the Disney Channel, which airs each weekday from 4pm.
'Roller Coaster' is in stores now and is exclusively distributed through Roadshow Entertainment.
