Synopsis: Audiences everywhere are in for a Smurfy good time as the Smurfs make their first 3D trip to the big screen in Columbia Pictures'/Sony Pictures Animation's hybrid live-action and animated family comedy, The Smurfs. When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours - in fact, smack dab in the middle of New York's Central Park. The Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

Verdict: The Smurfs 3D is a really great movie that kids and adults will, both, love because it is funny, adventurous and allows adults to relive one of their favourite cartoons, from childhood.

I used to watch The Smurfs cartoon when I was a kid and it was pretty cool to see an updated 3D version on movie screens that my kids could enjoy. The 3D feature was very well done, there were a couple of times in the movie that the film was right up in my face, which the entire cinema enjoyed.

Overall a very enjoyable movie for families.
