The Australian Film Festival will host a grand event on their closing night by hosting the Australian Film Walk of Fame, celebrating the successful budding careers of Australian actors Gary Sweet and Jack Thompson. A Night of Horror International Film Festival

The Festival began as a one night event and has since grown in popularity to span nine days, and include 16 feature films, over 50 shorts and music videos, a filmmaking forum and a screenplay competition.

Mirror Image will be performed as a contemporary play featuring music at REVOLT Productions, Kensington for three shows from Thursday April 28th - Saturday April 30th 2011.

Actors Lucinda Burney and Tommy Clifas bring to life the story and characters, soulmates Annie and George - Written and Directed by Josie Parrelli and Assistant Directed by Kim Morrell, this marks Josie's first play to be performed in Australia - Josie's previous play 'The Weekend' was performed on stage in New York as a part of the Strawberry One-Act Festival in February this year where it was a Semi-Finalist.

After the Melbourne theatre run, Mirror Image will be touring Regional Victoria and will then be adapted for the film version where it will be filmed in Melbourne and New York. This marks a new creative chapter in Josie Parrelli's professional career.

Writers of the Coral Coast Geraldton have launched the inaugural Short Story Competition. Winners will be published in the Writers of the Coral Coast annual book publication titled 'Time to Dream.'
