G: When did you realise your dream to be a performer?
JM:When I was about 14 I was talking in chorus during solo try-outs and my teacher made me stand up and try out because I was being so rude...I got the solo.

G: List three musical influences:
JM:The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell

G:When writing lyrics, what do you draw upon for inspiration?
JM:I find inspiration in simple things. Just everyday life...I find it very inspiring.

G:Have you found the Internet to be helpful/useful in fast-tracking your music career?
JM:Yes, the Internet has been a wonderful tool for me. I am able to reach so many people that normally would not have had access to my music.

G: In following your dream, who has helped you along the way?
JM:My family has been incredibly supportive. I have also been lucky enough to have great friends and fans.

G:Is there anything you wish you could change about the music industry?
JM: The list is too long!

G:What advice can you offer to other budding young artists?
JM: Enjoy the process.

G: Where do you envision yourself in 5 years time?
JM: I have trouble deciding what I am going to eat for breakfast...thinking that far into the future gives me a headache.
