The 2011 Piggy Bank Appeal has commenced with a fanfare of police and emergency vehicles escorting Ultra Marathorn runner, Jane Kilkenny along a 25km road run from Very Special Kids in Malvern to her Fitness Energy business in Park Orchards. Jane holds an annual 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge and has helped raise over $90,000 for Very Special Kids over the past few years.

It was an early start last Friday for Jane and the three piggy's(our giant piggy's Percy, Princess and Patrick... not the police) as they travelled along major arterial roads, causing some early morning risers to look twice as this spectacular cavalcade drove through the early morning mist.
