At the heart of the range is the Miso Soup Paste,. Simply stir in boiling water and enjoy!
The Miso Ramen Paste brings the same depth of flavour, to create ramen with ease. Made with the same signature Miso Tasty miso, Japanese dashi, and mushroom paste, you can now recreate the ramen you have been craving with minimal effort. No need for hours of simmering broth - just add boiling water, cook your veggies and protein, add a soft-boiled egg and your choice of toppings, to create a delicious, umami-rich meal in minutes.
The Miso Glazes, available in Sweet & Savoury and Rich & Spicy, brings immense versatility to the kitchen - no recipes needed! Simply coat your meat, fish, or veggies, then cook for a quick, flavour-packed meal. The Sweet & Savoury glaze is perfect for everything from miso cod or eggplant to adding a burst of umami to roasted vegetables or chicken, while the Rich & Spicy glaze adds a smoky chili kick to any dish that needs a little heat. Whether you're grilling, roasting, or pan-frying, these glazes caramelise beautifully, making them the perfect easy addition to any mid-week meal repertoire.
Bonnie Chung, founder of Miso Tasty, says the new range was created to make Japanese cooking more accessible to everyone. "Cooking with miso doesn't have to be complicated. We're so excited to launch this range and show Australians how easy it can be to recreate their favourite Japanese dishes at home. Our mission has always been to make authentic, high-quality Japanese flavours simple and fun to explore – even on busy weeknights."
The new Miso Tasty Miso Soup Paste, Miso Ramen Paste and Miso Glazes will be available at Woolworths stores nationally in the Asian food section (RRP $7.95).
The Rich & Spicy Miso Glaze is a flavour-packed miso marinade perfect for chicken wings, dark meats, oily fish and roasted root vegetables. Simply coat with a thin layer and then roast meat or fish, or use to glaze and grill vegetables. It can also be enjoyed as a condiment instead of ketchup, BBQ sauce, or as a side to eggs.
Expect savoury, sweet and smokey chilli notes, with a deep BBQ sauce flavour. The richness of this sauce will cut through oily fish and fatty meats like pork belly and chicken thighs, caramelising nicely on a BBQ. As it is quite a sweet sauce, we recommend not cooking on too high a heat for too long.

Sweet & Savoury Miso Glaze, with its rich umami profile balanced by hints of sweetness, enhances the natural flavours of the grilled aubergine and halloumi. Perfect as a main course or a savoury appetiser, these skewers are sure to impress at any gathering or BBQ!
Ingredients
To Serve:
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 220°C / 200°C fan, or light your BBQ if using. Soak your small wooden skewers in some water for 30 minutes before cooking to avoid burning.
Slice the halloumi in half and cut into 2cm cubes. Cut the aubergines into four thick slices lengthways and then dice into 2cm cubes. Place in a medium bowl, drizzle with the olive oil and salt, then mix well to coat. Layer around 4-6 pieces per skewer, alternating the aubergines and halloumi. You should end up with 25-30 skewers in total.
Roast the skewers in the oven or grill on the BBQ for 6-7 minutes until lightly charred. Brush with the Sweet & Savoury Glaze, sprinkle with white sesame seeds, then place them back in the oven or onto the BBQ for a further 3-4 minutes until nicely caramelised.
Remove from the oven or BBQ and scatter over sliced spring onions, extra sesame seeds and mint leaves. Enjoy alongside a crisp green salad and a nice cold beer.
