An international soccer star Jose (Eduardo Verastegui) is on his way to sign a multi-million dollar contract when a series of events turn his life upside down and brings his career to an abrupt end. The famous athlete retreats from the world to work as a cook at his brother's Mexican restaurant in Manhattan.
