Box office royalty, Will Smith stars as superhero John Hancock in Peter Bergs comic-book adaptation of Hancock. This is a tale about an unhappy and reluctant superhero that defends Los Angeles in less than heroic fashion. At odds with the city, he reluctantly accepts a public relations makeover from struggling executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman). The sardonic superhero begins to realise that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be Hancock's greatest challenge yet - and a task that proves impossible as Ray's wife (Charlize Theron) insists he's a lost cause.
