Wholefoods and wholesome seeds:
Spelt (otherwise known as Triticum spelta) is not as well-known as its cousin, wheat, but by nature it is a wholefood with a deep, appealing, nutty flavour. Spelt is a grain rich in nutrition with a high protein and fibre content and is a good source of Vitamin B2, manganese, niacin and thiamine to name a few.
Sunflower seeds are one of the main sources of polyunsaturated fat - the types of fat that may protect the heart. The mild, nutty-tasting seeds are bursting with nutrients, including vitamin E, a vital antioxidant and magnesium which is necessary for healthy bones and energy production.
Golden Linseeds are a rare variety of linseeds (otherwise known as flax seeds), differentiated by their golden colour. Linseeds are a good source of omega-3 fats, fibre and many nutrients. The Flax plant, responsible for producing the glossy golden linseeds is one of the oldest cultivated plants known to man.
Barley is a versatile grain with a robust, nutlike flavour. This grain's claim to nutritional fame is its source of soluble and insoluble fibre, which is known to aid metabolism and promote a healthy, digestive system. Barley is also low in fat and contains several essential vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants.

Helga's Spelt & Sunflower Seed and Helga's Golden Linseed & Barley contain no artificial flavours, no animal fats, are lactose free and a source of dietary fibre. Available exclusively in Coles for a limited time only at RRP $4.59ea.
