In the latest trailer for Monsters University, it becomes clear that Mike and Sully were not always inseparable. Mike's excitement at officially being a college student only increases when he finds out his room-mate is also enrolling in the scaring major.

Rivalry soon mounts between the two as they battle it out to be the scarier monster. The competition begins, Mike's academic knowledge versus Sully's scare tactics. We're left wondering, what happens that ends up making these to the closest of friends?
