Onne Step Closer To International Expansion

Cult natural Australian skincare company ONNE has today announced a partnership with Co Brand Partners Limited, who will be instrumental in launching the brand's presence exponentially throughout the USA this year.

Taking a cornerstone equity position in ONNE, investor and global brand partner Co Brand Partners is known for providing capital, resources, and connections to companies that are well positioned for growth from social change – and ONNE certainly fits this profile. The brainchild of Founder and CEO Carlia Ashton, ONNE launched in 2015 and has garnered a cult following since. At the forefront of the eco-luxe movement which is seeing the rise of naturally formulated skincare that doesn't sacrifice luxury, ONNE products use 100% natural ingredients that are also certified organic. Each product guarantees to be free of synthetic chemicals, petroleum-derived ingredients, synthetic preservatives, GMOs, parabens, and sulphates – as well as being 100% cruelty free.

Interview with Carlia Ashton, ONNE Founder

Question: Can you tell us about ONNE?

Carlia Ashton: ONNE is an Australian skincare brand that uses the best nutrient-rich, nature–powered, all-natural ingredients to create products that allow the skin to glow from within. We aim to inspire our customers to look after their whole selves, starting with their skin.


Question: Are you able to tell us a little bit about the products?

Carlia Ashton: Our products draw inspiration from ancient remedies, taking a holistic approach to skincare. We only use the most pure organically, sustainably and ethically sourced, natural, vegan ingredients, meaning that we leave out all the nasty synthetic preservatives, chemicals and fragrances that could irritate the skin. The original collection features coconut and aloe, however, it is the combination of all the natural ingredients in the formulas that are responsible for the overall efficacy of each product within the range.


Question: What originally inspired you to start ONNE?

Carlia Ashton: I was inspired to start ONNE after noticing a gap in the market for a cosmetic brand that was beautifully branded, chemically free and consumer-conscious. I know that myself and a lot of other people worldwide, suffer from hypersensitive skin that reacts to many environmental elements and synthetic chemicals. Which is why I set out to create a simple honest and transparent range of skincare products that use all natural ingredients, that are perfectly designed by nature to balance out the skin.


Question: Can you tell us about the partnership with Co Brand Partners Limited?

Carlia Ashton: ONNE's partnership with Co Brand Partners is a very exciting one, as it represents the next step in ONNE's journey. Question: What does this mean internationally for ONNE?

Carlia Ashton: Our partnership with Co Brand Partners is instrumental in expanding ONNE's presence within the USA market and internationally. By connecting us to their global network of e-comm platforms, social and digital marketing and industry experts, Co Brand Partners are helping ONNE to flourish in the global beauty scene.


Question: What's a typical day like, for you?

Carlia Ashton: Not every day is the same for me, as I usually focus my days around what needs my immediate attention, which is ever changing. However, I do tend to start my day by checking and replying to my emails. Once my emails are under control (as much as possible), I like to sit down and read the industry news while having my morning juice. If we are in the process of developing new products, I will spend some time working with the product formulator, researching the ingredients and working on the artwork for the labels and boxes. After this I like to plan out ONNE's social schedules and meet up with the marketing team to work on our latest campaigns. My afternoons are usually spent writing and editing articles for the Eunoia Edit, before heading home to enjoy my favourite part of the day – my night time pamper session.
