Proud supporters of ACON and an official Sydney Mardi Gras Festival 2009 event, the Cyberqueen Future Fashion exhibition is striking, conceptual and visionary. Taking place this month, visitors to the exhibition will be able to experience a breathtakingly beautiful celebration of futuristic fashion, beauty and style integrating technology, art and innovation.

Cyberqueen Future Fashion delivers an avant-garde showcase of photographic art images, futuristic costumes, accessories and a range of urban warrior streetwear fashion. Presented within moving cyberspace visuals and set to electronic music, the exhibition is designed to transport the viewer to the impressive new world of future fashion.

Launching with an exclusive invitation only opening night spectacular this Friday 20th February 2009, Cyberqueen Future Fashion will be presented at the impressive Tom Dunne Gallery, Darlinghurst. The prestigious two-storey, light filled gallery will be transformed into a space capsule of futuristic beauty and elegance with the exhibition continuing for the general public from 21st February until 1st March 2009.

"Cyberqueen" is the performance persona and virtual online character of Onix Black, the artist, model and creative visionary behind Future Fashion. A previous three times Mardi Gras Parade and Party Costume winner, Onix creates the entire concept from costumes, make-up, styling and set to modelling each of her own futuristic fashion and beauty images.

"My vision is to inspire art and fashion into a new age of cyber elegance through the creation of iconic fashion and beauty images. I'm drawn to all things futuristic and I'm fascinated by beauty in all its forms. I create images that challenge concepts of beauty and fashion, that inspire progress into an age of futuristic grace, technology and style," Onix explained.

A definite 'must see' event in the 2009 Mardi Gras Festival line-up, Cyberqueen Future Fashion is the future of fashion now.

The spectacular Cyberqueen Future Fashion exhibition is open to the public from this Saturday 21st February until Saturday 1st March 2009 at the Tom Dunne Gallery, 11 Little Burton Street, Darlinghurst.

Admission to the gallery is $8. Gallery opening hours are 12pm to 6pm Sunday to Thursday, and 12pm to 8.30pm Friday and Saturday with unique opportunities to meet Cyberqueen the artist herself during weekends and throughout the exhibition.
