Four years after taking a bullet in the head at her own wedding, the bride (Uma Thurman) emerges from a coma and decides its time for payback... with a vengeance!

The acclaimed fourth film by groundbreaking writer and director Quentin Tarantino, Kill Bill, Volume 1 stars Uma Thurman, Lucy Lu, and Vivica A. Fox in an astonishing, action packed thriller about brutal betrayal and an epic vendetta!

Having been gunned down by her former boss Bill (David Carradine) and his deadly squad of viper assassins, it's a kill-or-be-killed fight she didn't start but is determined to finish!

All the vipers are code-named after poisonous serpents and the deadliest of them is Black Mamba (Uma Thurman), who is also Bill's former lover. But they made a big mistake. Bill and the Vipers leave the Bride (Thurman) for dead, not realising she is merely comatose. Four years later she suddenly awakens and realizes what has been done to her. She disposes of the hospital orderly who has been auctioning off her immobile body for rent.

She pursues her wedding massacre participants, the Vipers one by one, first seeking out O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu), who has risen to be the boss of all bosses in the Japanese yakuze underworld. Undergoing an extensive gruesome battle against O-Ren Ishii's clad soldiers and personal shock squad she finally faces O-Ren Ishii for a show down in the snow.

She emerges and sends Bill and the other Vipers a warning that she is coming. Days later Viper number two, Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox) receives 'what is coming'.

Review:
Loaded with explosive action and intense raw emotions, Kill Bill is revenge at it's best! Be prepared for gore, cause Tarantino has not skimped on the special effects to the point of repulsive. While the excessive blood is an overkill, it looks real enough. So if you don't like the site of blood, but love good action, remember it's only special effects.
