From live music performances to giant sand sculpture displays, as well as mini courts by ANZ Tennis Hot Shots, it's all happening at Melbourne's favourite retail and entertainment precinct, with a jam-packed program of activities and events guaranteed to bring a smile to every member of the family – big and small.

The 2019 Summer Vibes will take place at The District Docklands throughout January and February. Check out the full program below.

The District Makers Market
Every Sunday across summer, indulge in a little retail therapy at The District Makers Market, home to over 30 speciality market stalls showcasing a variety of art, craft, jewellery, homewares, gifts and artisanal produce. And if you are really feeling inspired, why not learn some new skills at the free creative workshops or just sit back and enjoy free family entertainment. Plus, on Sunday, 17 February, The District Docklands will be hosting a special Dogs of The District Market!

Live Music
Tune in to Melbourne's coolest Summer vibes at The District Docklands. Grab your friends, sit back with a drink or a meal and enjoy a great line-up of acoustic performers, DJs and bands every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
When: 2pm to 8pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in January and February

Sand Sculpture Exhibition
Who says you have to go to the beach to witness the unique art of sand sculpting? This summer watch two giant sand sculptures literally appear before your eyes at The District Docklands.
When: Live carving from Monday, 14 January to Saturday, 19 January, with the final sculptures on display from Sunday, 20 January to Wednesday, 6 March

Springfree Trampoline Jump Hub
For 4 days only, jump away in Melbourne's safest trampoline jump hub – the perfect way to burn off a little excess energy!

ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Mini Courts
Anyone for tennis? One of Australia's favourite summer sports is coming to The District Docklands this January, with the ANZ Tennis Hot Shots mini courts! Come along and introduce your kids to a sport they can play for life, in a nurturing environment that promotes active, healthy lifestyles. What's not to like!

Mechanical Surfboard Zone
Hang ten! If you have ever wondered what it feels like to be real-life surfer, now is your chance! Ride the big wave and step up to the challenge on the giant mechanical surfboard!

Giant Garden Games
Grab some friends and come and play all your family favourite games – supersized! Try your luck at Connect 4, quoits, chess, naughts and crosses, Jenga, bocce, dominos and many more.
When: Monday, 14 January to Sunday, 27 January, and every Saturday and Sunday throughout February from 12pm – 4pm

Australia Day Blinky Bill Meet & Greet
Visit Souvenirs Direct this Australia Day to meet and greet one of Australia's most lovable larrikins, Blinky Bill! There'll be plenty of gifts and giveaways for everyone who comes to see our favourite koala. Blinky will be out the front of Souvenirs Direct from 12pm – 12.30pm, 1pm – 1.30pm and 2pm – 2.30pm on Australia Day, 26 January.
