A remake of the 1959 Disney original movie starring Fred MacMurray, THE SHAGGY DOG is a hilarious hit-comedy that sees workaholic Dave Douglas, (Tim Allen - Toy Story, The Santa Clause) transform back and forth between a father and dog while battling his latest court case against an animal laboratory.

Dave, a typical working father, commits all of his time and energy into his work and neglects spending enough time with his beautiful wife (Kristen Davis - TV's Sex In The City) and children. Until one day, Dave is bitten by a dog, and becomes infected with a top-secret, genetic-mutation serum that turns him into a sheepdog at the most inappropriate times.

Now, exhibiting dog-like features and gaining amazing canine instincts, Dave makes the dramatic transformation into a dog every time he hears commands such as 'fetch' or sees a cat or mouse and is only ever human at night time or when he is calm and relaxed.

His family becomes increasingly tired of their father's preoccupation with his work and it isn't until Dave is in the shape and form of a dog that he realises just how much his work antics have affected his family and distanced him from his wife and children.

Dave becomes desperate to please his loved ones and right all his wrongs. He decides to stop at nothing to prove justice in the courtroom and reunite his family.
