Under Armour Introduces New Velociti Elite & Distance Running Shoes

UNDER ARMOUR AUSTRALIA INTRODUCES THE VELOCITI ELITE AND VELOCITI DISTANCE TO POWER EVERY STAGE OF A RUNNER'S JOURNEY

Under Armour Australia is expanding its next-generation Velociti running lineup with the Velociti Elite (Unisex) and Velociti Distance - two performance-driven models engineered to support runners from high-mileage training through to peak race-day performance.

Velociti Elite 3:  Built for Race Day Performance

RRP: $300

Leading the lineup is the Velociti Elite, Under Armour's pinnacle racing shoe designed for athletes chasing personal bests across long and mid-distance road races, including marathons.

Developed with input from elite endurance runners, the Velociti Elite features a full-length carbon fibre plate that delivers explosive propulsion with every stride, helping runners maintain speed and efficiency over long distances. A supercritical midsole foam provides a lightweight, responsive ride with exceptional energy return when it matters most.

The shoe's minimal upper construction with dynamic Leno weave stretch creates a secure, race-ready fit while reducing weight and enhancing breathability. A lightweight, durable rubber outsole delivers grip and durability on road surfaces, giving runners confidence through every kilometre.

Built with one purpose in mind - winning on race day - The Velociti Elite represents Under Armour's most advanced running innovation.

Review:

Okay so I went into the Under Armour Velociti Elite 3 expecting it to be very "serious runner" vibes, and yeah… it definitely is. This is not your cute, comfy everyday sneaker"it's 100% built for race day. The carbon plate gives it that super bouncy, almost springy feeling when you're running faster, and you can really feel it helping you keep momentum, especially over longer distances. The midsole is also really lightweight and responsive, so it doesn't feel heavy or clunky at all, which I loved.

That being said, it's pretty minimal. The upper is super breathable and fits snug which I love, but it's not super cushioned or plush, so it feels a bit intense if you're used to more supportive shoes. It's one of those pairs you'd wear when you actually want to perform, not just go for a chill walk or quick jog. The grip is solid though, and overall it just feels fast. I'd say it's perfect if you're training for something big or chasing a PB, also love the look goes with everything.

Velociti Distance: Engineered for High-Mileage Training

RRP: $200

Complementing the Elite is the Velociti Distance, designed to support runners through the demanding training blocks that build towards race day.

Built for high-mileage weeks and long runs, the Velociti Distance delivers the cushioning, stability and durability required for consistent training. The shoe provides a balanced, responsive feel underfoot to help runners maintain comfort and efficiency across daily mileage and endurance sessions.

Together, the Velociti Elite and Velociti Distance represent two key stages of the runner's journey - building endurance through training and delivering peak performance on race day.

By pairing the endurance-focused Distance with the race-ready Elite, Under Armour continues to deliver athlete-led innovation designed to help runners train longer, run faster, and compete at their highest level.

The Velociti Elite and Velociti Distance are available now via underarmour.com and rebel online and in stores nationally.
