City of Wonder is an immersive, interactive, purpose-driven experience where children become city-builders, dreamers, and problem-solvers in  hands-on workshops that combine sustainability, storytelling, and creative play.

At the heart of the experience is internationally renowned Italian artist
Raffaele Salvoldi, known for his epic, ephemeral constructions made from nothing but small planks and a big imagination.
This latest project invites children to build - and rebuild - a growing cityscape using planks made entirely from 100% recycled plastic waste, highlighting the power of creative collaboration and sustainable design.

ARCHITECTURE CLUB – FLYING INTO THE FUTURE

Duration: Approx. 3 hours

Learn about the architectural history of the Sydney Opera House with
Architecture Club.

Inspired by the unique design genius of architect Jorn Utzon, Architect and Educator Louise O'Brien's design workshops will empower you to take your passion about buildings and architecture and pour it into a fun design project.

For FLYING INTO THE FUTURE – participants use similar components to Utzon's models and create their own sculptural forms which convey motion and movement. The workshop includes model making and a sketch creative challenge.
