Melbourne's independent musical theatre group Theatrical Inc. have announced their latest production,
the smash hit show LEGALLY BLONDE: The Musical which is set to open for a limited season at The
National Theatre in St Kilda from July 12th, 2025. Based on the beloved hit film Legally Blonde, this
fabulously fun award-winning musical follows the journey of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes,
defies expectations, and proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style! Elle Woods
appears to have it all, however her glossy life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps
her so he can find a more suitable partner while he attends Harvard Law. Determined to get him back,
Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers,
professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, Elle quickly realises her own potential
and sets out to prove herself to the world. This timeless show saw its original Broadway production
earn seven Tony Award nominations, including Best Original Score. The West End production won
three Laurence Olivier Awards in 2011, including Best New Musical. Additionally, an Australian
production of the musical won five Helpmann Awards in 2013.

From familiar favourites who havepreviously lit up the Theatrical Inc stage, to newcomers making their first appearance, this ensemble isset to deliver a must-see production brimming with wit, charm, and dazzling performances.
