Saturday morning cartoon characters are brought to life in "Scooby-Doo". The youthful sleuths of the Mystery Machine, Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy, fight and go their separate ways until a mysterious theme park owner calls them all together again to investigate the weird happenings on his spooky island. Upon investigation they discover the whole thing is nothing more than a trap for them and that their dog pal, 'Scooby-Doo', is to be sacrificed in a bizarre demon conjuring ritual. Lots of cheap jokes and crude humour are tossed around as animation is mixed with live action. More times than not the jokes fall flat all though Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar) seemed to have her character down and deliver several good laughs.
