Cutting Edge Trickd Attraction Set To Bend Reality On The Gold Coast

Cutting Edge Trickd Attraction Set To Bend Reality On The Gold Coast
Are you ready to have your mind completely blown? For the first time in the Australian market, an all-new attraction set to deliver brain-bending fun for all ages has launched in Surfers Paradise.

TRICKD, a reality-distorting immersive sensory experience, backed by the globally renowned Ripley's Believe It or Not! World Entertainment opened its doors Monday March 16, 2026 ahead of the Easter school holidays.

TRICKD will lean into the Gold Coast's appetite for awesome. Kids and adults alike will have their perception warped by mirrors and impossible geometry, discover rooms that tilt the sense of scale and gravity, and enjoy a maze of interconnected spaces where the laws of physics feel negotiable. All this adrenaline-pumping fun is guaranteed to keep the whole family discovering a brand-new side to reality!

Guests aren't just thrown into a new dimension; this attraction slowly picks apart reality until it's completely on its head. The experience begins with engaging optical illusions, shifting perspectives, and reflections that feel slightly off-kilter. TRICKD continues to escalate as sound bends, tactile cues mislead, and taste experiments challenge flavour expectations.

The grand finale concludes with an immersive digital, glitching environment that blurs the line between the physical and virtual, providing a futuristic finish to the experience.

Featuring cutting-edge technology in a multi-million-dollar fit-out spanning 667 square metres, TRICKD is a next-generation addition to the Coast's entertainment mix, and a separate, standalone attraction from Ripley's existing Surfers Paradise venues.

"There's nothing like this in Australia,"
said Victor Danau (Director, Asia Pacific Development & Operations, Ripley's Believe It or Not! World Entertainment). "Immersive entertainment is booming globally, with everything from sports to concerts jumping on board, and the Gold Coast is the perfect home for our new sensory-driven experience that will appeal to locals and holidaymakers alike. TRICKD is designed to be a hands-on experience that can be enjoyed solo or as part of a group. We are thrilled to debut an attraction where you can play, explore, and question what your senses are telling you."

The journey through the all-new TRICKD attraction will unfold across three key zones:

Dr. Enigma's Laboratory
: Reality feels normal at first. Then reflections bend, illusions shift, and glowing experiments reveal that physics may not be what it seems.

The Anomaly Zone
: Patterns warp and proportions shift. Colour tricks, sound illusions, and tactile surprises push perception further off balance.

The Paradox Glitch Zone
: A high-tech finale where light, motion, and mixed-reality effects collide in a playful unravelling of what's real.

Launching ahead of the Easter school holidays, the all-ages attraction will be located at Level 1 - 4 Orchid Ave, Surfers Paradise, with on-site parking.
