Above & Beyond are one of the most exciting talents in the global dance music scene today. Their genre-defining productions - often released on their own Anjunabeats label - have become an essential tool for the world's leading DJ's and have set the benchmark for the new generation of trance producers. The boys recently scooped Radio 1's prestigious Essential Mix Of The Year Award, prompting Radio 1 resident Pete Tong to describe them as 'the UK's new trance superstars'. Above & Beyond were also shortlisted in 3 categories at the Miami Winter Music Awards, including in the category of best dance group alongside the Chemical Brothers, Scissor Sisters & Basement Jaxx.
In 2006, the trio will release their first artist album, 'Tri-State', featuring collaborations with Zoe Johnston, Richard Bedford and Andy Moor.

For those that need brushing up on their history, Hook Recordings was an independent record label established in 1993 by seminal Scottish DJ/producer, Chris Cowie. Over the course of its 10 year existence, Hook grew into one of the leading electronic music labels specializing in progressive Trance, with some of the world's top DJs supporting their tracks, including Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold and Paul Van Dyk. ALEX MEGANE
Alex went on producing and in 2004 released his first Solo Single: 'SO TODAY' it topped almost every Dance Chart in and around Germany.
Alex became an in demand remixer, his remixes virtually guaranteed a high dance German chart position. Alex started a new project with with Sebastian Wernke Schmiesing, under the name 'Alex M. vs. Marc van Damme.' In 2004 their first release: 'TECHNODISCO through Mental Madness Records was a huge summer hit in Europe. Alex continued producing solo remixes for acts like: DJ DEAN "Ballanation", DJ SHOG "Live 4 Music", CASCADA, ACCUFACE, KATE RYAN, and KLUBBINGMAN under the Alex Megane guise as well as original tracks and remixes using pseudonyms such as Cosmic Culture, Desperate Deejays, Alex M and more.
In 2005 Alex's second solo single 'HURRICANE' was released & blitzed the charts again going Top 10 in Germany! As a result, many producers are enlisting the talents of Alex Megane!
So keep an ear out for this young talent, as he's about to embark on a worldwide rampage!
