The Feeling of Indifference
Have you ever experienced when a close friend has suffered something really bad, had a horrific accident or lost a loved one and you have not really felt anything in particular? But you think you should be feeling sad or something?

How did you feel? Did you think you should be suffering with them or feeling sad for them? Did it make you feel that there must be something wrong with you or that you are some kind of uncaring, callous sort of person?

The answer to this is that you didn't have to feel anything.

Your guardian angel typically tries to help you to stay strong particularly in situations when your friend needs your strength. At the time you may have even said or thought, "Oh God, help us or help me to get through this".

At these times, a clear and strong attitude within yourself is what is needed, so that you can think things through.

If one person were to fall into a pit, does the other jump into the pit with them or do they stay out of the pit, seek help and find a ladder or rope to help them out?

Have you ever heard anyone say, "she is always there for me," or "they've been a tower of strength, when I needed them the most"?

If you think that you may not be up to the task, ask your guardian angel to help you and of course ask on your friend's behalf, for their guardian angel to be with them.

You may remember a time when something was happening to you and you thought that you wouldn't pull through. In your moment of sadness, loneliness, fear or terror, you cried out, "Help!" or "For God's sake, help me" and somehow you made it through.

You asked for help and your guardian angel heard you and did everything they could to help you through, by giving you clarity, calm and peace of mind, to think and fight it through.

Sometimes it may appear that all is lost and that your guardian angel has been of no help to you at all. Just try to remember that they cannot do it physically for you, but they can, if you allow them, to help you remain calm and think it through.

You are the physical being with your own inner spirit and it is this inner spirit that your guardian angel connects with.

Try to stay tuned, find time to meditate and call in your guardian angel. The feeling of indifference can be helpful.
