Well, since leaving the show in the 90s they have both pursued a life of literature and have become published authors. Between them they have published more than five series of children's books.

It's Yr Life is their first collaboration and was co-written across the globe in real time via email. It grew from a writing exercise where in order to stay in character they dind't speak, see one another, plan plots or discuss character development during the whole two-year writing process. At the end of this email exchange emerged It's Yr Life, a funny, sassy, prickly and absolutely thrilling young adult novel.

Tempany Deckert is an actress and author who divides her time between the United States and Australia. She has appeared in Home and Away, The Secret Life of Us and performances of the classic Australian play Away. She can currently be seen on Australia televisions in the Commonwealth Bank advertisements. Tempany is the author of seventeen books for children, and she continues to create exciting and zany stories for teens and young people. She also writes for the stage and screen.

Tristan Bancks is a writer and filmmaker. He has a background as an actor and television presenter in Australia and the UK. His short films have won a number of awards and have screened widely in festivals and on TV. Tristan has written a number of books for kids and teens, including the Mac Slater, Coolhunter series. Tristan's drive is to tell inspiring, fast-moving stories for young people.
