Emily Osment was reared in a family of actors. Her father Eugene has appeared in numerous television and film productions and her older brother, Haley Joel Osment, was an Academy Award nominee for his starring role in the Sixth Sense at 11 years old!

She is a workaholic

Emily Osment booked her first commercial acting job at age 5 and from there starred in numerous commercials before landing a role in the feature film "The Secret Life of Girls." Since then, Emily Osment has co-starred in the television movie "Sarah, Plain and Tall: Winters End" with Glenn Close and Christopher Walken. She has also appeared on "Friends," "Third Rock From the Sun" and "Touched by an Angel" and she earned the attention of movie audiences with her role as Gerti Giggles in the Spy Kids movie.

Acting is not her only talent!

Emily Osment snowboards, plays guitar, sings and writes songs, and also enjoys knitting and sewing scarves and clothes.
