TEDDYS GO ON THEIR BIG DAY OUT THESE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AT THE HVG

The Hunter Valley Gardens (HVG) will be hosting a 'Kidspace' program packed with amazing activities, fun, laughter and nature, during the upcoming school holidays from September 29 to October 14.

With no more booooring games, or yet another cartoon movie to see, parents will be able to take their children back to nature to experience the great outdoors and all of the beauty and wonder that Spring can bring.

Every day throughout the holidays, parents and kids will enjoy all of the activities free after paid Gardens admission. The program will include:

  • A Treasure Hunt All Day

  • Giant Board Games All Day

  • Potting Plants 11am to 12pm
  • Face Painting 10am to 2pm

  • Baby Animal Show 2pm (Zoo Experts show off joeys, chickens & reptiles)

  • Over 250,000 spring flowers to see and sniff!

But on one special day being Sunday, October 7, the Hunter Valley Gardens will be celebrating its 4th Birthday, and hosting a TEDDY BEARS BIG DAY OUT!

There will be a mini market, clowns, story time, a magic show, face painting, teddy bear craft, lots of prizes to be won, and all of the 'Kidspace' activities above.

Hunter Valley Gardens is also running a fabulous TEDDY BEAR competition right now for the Most Traveled Teddy Bear and the Most Loved Teddy Bear. Visit http://www.hvg.com.au/gardens.asp to download a copy of the entry form. Winners will be announced on the day (October 7).

Gates will open at 9am and Teddy Bear activities will commence from 11am.

Entry fees into the Hunter Valley Gardens are $19.90 for adults, $11.00 for children (free for children under 5). Family passes cost $52.00 for two adults and two children.
