Kevin James stars in Here Comes the Boom, a comedy about a high school biology teacher moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter.

Scott Voss (Kevin James), a bored biology teacher at the failing Wilinson High School refuses to stand on the sidelines, when budget cutbacks threaten to jeopardise the school's music programme and the job of his friend, veteran music teacher, Marty (Henry Winkler).

Trying numerous fundraising ideas, Scott eventually signs up to the world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) after learning that even the losers walk away with prize money. Gradually he begins gaining money for the school through small fights.

However, when he is offered the chance to fight in the UFC in Las Vegas he realises that all his money problems could be solved if he could just win the match prize of $50,000. Everyone thinks he is crazy including the school nurse, Bella (Salma Hayek) but Scott is determined to win and keep the programme alive.

This heartwarming comedy is one of hope, humour and dedication.
