Boasting an all-Australian, all-star cast, Blinky Bill the Movie is voiced by Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) as the voice of Blinky Bill, Rufus Sewell (A Knight's Tale) as the treacherous feral cat Sir Claude and Robin McLeary (Hell On Wheels) as Blinky's best friend Nutsy. Starring alongside them is Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine), David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings: return of the King) and Deborah Mailman (The Sapphires). Rounding out this esteemed ensemble are Richard Roeburgh (Moulin Rouge), Barry Otto (The Great Gatsby) and Barry Humphries (Dame Edna Everage).

An adventurer at heart, Blinky (Kwanten) dreams of leaving his little home town of Green Patch and following in his missing Father's footsteps. When Blinky discovers a mysterious marker that hints at his Father's whereabouts, he embarks on a journey that takes him beyond the boundaries of Green Patch and into the wild and dangerous outback.

As Blinky explores, he quickly makes friends with a koala from the Zoo named Nutsy (McLeavy) and a nervous frillnecked lizard named Jacko (Wenham). The trio travels deep into the bush and soon find themselves relentlessly pursued by a dangerous cat out to settle a score against the loveable koala. The team must forge strong friendships and work together if they want to survive the rugged Australian landscape and find Blinky's Father.
