When did you realise that music was your passion? When I was 9, I saw a production of 'Cats' in Sydney - I was hooked on music from that night onwards!

List three musical influences: Frente, Tori Amos, The Waifs

How many years have you been performing? Maybe about 10?

Do you write your own material? Absolutely!

Have you found the Internet to be helpful/useful in fast-tracking your
music career? Definitely - it's been really useful to e-mail my website to record companies and management, in addition to my fan base - saves a lot on postage costs!

In following your dream, who has helped you along the way? My mum….am I sounding too much like Britney Spears?

Is there anything you wish you could change about the music industry? I wish it could actually be about the MUSIC and that the industry could no longer be dominated by the Austereo network, although that's beginning to change a bit with Nova. It's difficult being an artist/songwriter and having one organisation (Austereo) determine whether your song will have mainstream success in Australia.

What advice can you offer to other budding young artists? Gig your heart out and take media criticism with a bucket of salt.

Where do you envision yourself in 5 years time? Can you ask me that in 5 years time?
