Girl.com.au: How do you feel when you watch yourself on the DVD?
Bindi Sue Irwin: When I watch myself on my DVDs I am really proud of myself but Im always thinking of ways I can improve.
Girl.com.au: What have you learnt through filming Bindi the Jungle Girl?
Bindi Sue Irwin: Over the years I have learnt how to film better by learning to talk to the camera like I would a friend. I have also learnt that Ican help teach kids how to protect and respect the planet.
Girl.com.au: What is your favourite part of the filming process?
Bindi Sue Irwin: I really enjoy the opportunity to film with family and friends and we always have so much fun and laugh a lot.
Girl.com.au: Do you have a funny story about what goes on behind the scenes?
Bindi Sue Irwin: While filming the Episode Boots, bags and belts Mum and I had to dress up as detectives. We looked like boys, and when my brother Robert watched this episode he didnt know who we were.
Girl.com.au: What challenges do you face being in the public eye?
Bindi Sue Irwin: One of my challenges is reaching enough people in my time to teach them how important wildlife conservation really is.
Girl.com.au: What message do you want to get across to children and parents about animals and the environment?
Bindi Sue Irwin: The biggest thing Id like people to know is to not buy wildlife products. Animals are dying to be in fashion, every time we lose ananimal species its like losing a brick from the house. Pretty soon the house just falls down. If we stop buying wildlife products the killing stops too.
Girl.com.au: What is your favourite animal? Why?
Bindi Sue Irwin: I really cant pick between Crocodiles and Snakes because they are both such amazing animals.
Girl.com.au: Who do you admire the most?
Bindi Sue Irwin: I admire my Mum and my Dad the most because they are absolute heroes and they have done so much for conservation. I hopeI can be just like them when I grow up.
Girl.com.au: Whats next for Bindi?
