LUSCIOUS LIPS
An essential makeup item to have this winter is liquid lipstick which has the consistency and satin finish of a gloss but the colour intensity of a lipstick. It's perfect for those girls who like glossy lips with the longwearing effects of lipstick.
Moist, shiny lips are the only way to go this winter. Select a glossy shade of pink or red and reapply throughout the day.
TIP: Red is hot this season! Wear it on lips, cheeks, eyes and nails. Go for high gloss lipsticks and matte eye and blush shades
EYE CATCHING
Eyes are said to be the windows to a person's soul and with the correct makeup and application, many eye looks can be created. For "sexy eyes" line the upper and bottom lash lines with black eyeliner concentrating on the outer corners and smudging the liner outwards. Apply a beige shadow over the entire eyelid, under the lower lashes and under the arches of the eyebrows. Finish with lashings of black mascara.
TIP: The hot look for this winter is eyeliner, smudges and heavy kohl.
BROW BEAUTY
To keep your brows tucked and in place, use an eyebrow gel or clear mascara. Use light, feathery strokes to brush and set the brow in place. Use an eyebrow pencil to fill in, darken or add warmth to eyebrows. Don't overpluck eyebrows.
TIP: Keep an eyebrow pencil in your bag for a quick fix.
NAIL IT
Show some attitude with your nail polish - it's a cool and funky way to express yourself! You can have professional looking nails in three quick strokes. Choose a fabulous colour and then paint away!
TIP: Start at the middle of the nail and move to either side. Place the brush a millimetre away from your cuticle and re-dip the brush between each nail.
