I started at about age 16, and I hadn't even thought about becoming a model if it wasn't for my agent Ursula Hufnagl accosting me in the street with a film crew from A Current Affair.

GIRL: What is your best-kept beauty secret?

Don't wear make-up unless you really have to. Foundation especially tends to prematurely age you.

My Aesops moisturizer. I really like the mandarin one and so does my boyfriend.

GIRL: You are a well-known personality in both the fashion and media world. How do you find the demands of juggling the two careers?

Chloe:
Sometimes it can be difficult to give 100% to each but at the end of the day it's extremely rewarding.

GIRL: Everyone knows how tough the fashion industry can be. So how do you unwind after a hard day at work?

Chloe:
I love nothing more than to sloth in front of the TV eating junk food with my boyfriend!

GIRL: Girl.com.au features a column each month dedicated to "Fashion Disasters" sent in by our readers. What is one of your worst fashion disasters ever?

Chloe:
Put it this way - you shouldn't do a high kick in a mini skirt! Especially on stage in front of the whole school! (laughs)

GIRL: If you were going to a deserted island and had to take one item of clothing or accessory with you, what would it be?

Chloe:
My boyfriend - he's the perfect accessory!

The 60's will never die as far as I'm concerned.

Chloe:
Probably smart casual. A nice top with Jeans and heels.

GIRL: You are currently involved in a new TV show called StylebyteTV, which will be screened on Foxtel. Can you tell us a little about what your role will be on the show?

Chloe:
I am one of the six presenters who'll be actively taking part in changing the face of fashion TV forever. You'll never be able to watch another fashion show again!

GIRL: Are you excited to be working alongside some other well known faces like Wayne Cooper and Poppy King?

Chloe:
Yes, I think Australia has a wealth of talent in the fashion industry. I'm very excited for the opportunity to work alongside people I have always admired. Wayne makes me laugh too so that's definitely a bonus.

GIRL: What do you think of the fashion to come out of Australia at the moment?

Chloe:
Every year Australia delivers the goods as far as cutting edge fashion goes. I've always said that we are on the same level if not better than the overseas market.

GIRL: And what advice do you have for young hopefuls trying to break into the modelling industry?

Chloe:
I think it's important to maintain a good education. Despite how easy everyone thinks it is, if you don't have the intelligence you can miss out on making the most of all the other opportunities that arise.
