A guide to emotional intelligence for young people, for every parent and teacher who wants their children to live up to their natural promise.
No dreamer is ever too small. No dream is ever too big. Heroes are just ordinary people on amazing journeys. Some are born with more talent than others, but in the end it's not talent alone that makes you succeed. It's also about following your heart and having a go.

Finding Heroes is about the journey to self-discovery, rather than the quest for greatness or stardom, encouraging children to use emotional intelligence. The goals suggested in this book are realistic, promoting resilience and offering practical ways to fulfil personal potential through inspiring stories of famous people, characters and ordinary kids who have done amazing things. Its also a step-by-step guide to living the life children want to - rather than trying to live up to others expectations.
Taking inspiration from heroes as diverse as Ian Thorpe, Louise Sauvage, Frodo from The Lord of the Rings, Anne Frank, Christopher Reeve and Simba from The Lion King, Finding Heroes helps kids find the right path to good self-esteem before they move into the tumultuous teenage years.
