Looking older
I am a young woman of 19 years old who still looks like I'm 15.
Please help me, I would like to know what to do with my makeup so I look my age.

Hi Babyface
Beauty Doc tip:
Be true to yourself, and play your best features up! Remember that you are who you project yourself to be :)
One of these years, I’m sure you’ll look back and realise that looking younger is a bonus for most of your life, and most women go to great lengths to achieve a fountain of youth; however, except when you are younger trying to look older!!
Before we get into makeup tips for you, I have to say, make sure you look after your skin (and especially be sun sensible, your biggest anti-ageing ally) so that when you are older you can reap the benefits of this blessing in disguise.
Fresh faced and natural is NOT the look for you – this will only work to make you look younger, so I say go a bit more glam, with a more professional finished makeover, and you can work on the age issue!
Start with a flawless canvas – your foundation should be perfectly matched to your skintone, with good coverage, and not too shiny or overly matte.
Sculpt your bone structure, and work your cheekbones.
Bring out your best feature: focus attention on your favourite feature and emphasise this feature more dramatically – if it is your eyes, bring them out, if it is your lips, then make sure your pout is perfectly finished.
Finish with immaculately groomed brows, and a couple coats of mascara.
Stay away from any fad / gimmicky fashion fetish products, and stick to a well groomed look – anything too shiny, too glittery, too garish, too bright or even too natural will only make you look younger. For a refreshingly sophisticated look, check out the FaceArt "Picnic in the Park" makeover.
Talk to your hairdresser and update your hairstyle to something that embodies the essence of your new look. Find a style that frames your face and makes you look more your age.
And finally, incorporate your wardrobe into the equation.
If you want to look older, do it with grace and style, and come from a professional, elegant point of fashion – anything that looks classic and timeless will give you more of the edge you are wanting. You are in a transitional period – that very special girl to woman phase, so enjoy it and don’t try to be too old too soon!! Have fun with your youthful looks, and make the most of your natural beauty! You’ll appreciate your young-looking features all too soon!
