Mascara Dilemma
My biggest problem is finding mascara that is the right color for me. I am a redhead.

If you dab of mascara on your eyelid when you are applying it, dampen a cotton tip and "spot clean" to remove the blotch (use eye makeup remover if the mascara is water proof).
Mascara for red heads usually means making blonde lashes go from looking invisible, to darkening them enough to frame your eyes, yet not so much that it looks like you are wearing a full set of false lashes…
 Eyes can feel naked without mascara, and redheads, with their golden blonde lashes, are particularly predisposed to wearing mascara because of this. If you are not into wearing mascara everyday, but love the effect of having visible lashes, then lash tinting will come to the rescue. Brown and black-brown works best – black can look very dramatic, and blue-black can be overstated on some skintones. If your eyebrows are equally as blonde, a swipe of brown lash tint will add colour for up to 6 weeks.
Mascara options are varied in type and texture – from waterproof to glossy, to lengthening and thickening, so aside from choosing the formula that suits your look, go for subtle warm tones for a natural, fresh look, like deep red-brown, or a rich copper.
*If your eyes are bluey-grey, then go for a medium to dark brown mascara – try coppery toned mascara to enhance the blue tones of your eyes.
*To bring out brown eyes, charcoal or dark grey mascara works well, or for fun try a deep forest green to accent eye colour.
*For green eyes, rich reddish-brown mascara will compliment your eyes – for something different, use a purplish / deep plum.
If you can't reach the base of your lashes, use a liquid eyeliner (in a matching colour) to paint in where your mascara wand doesn't reach. If you don't have a close match in liquid liner, then use a very fine pointed brush and dip it onto the end of your mascara brush instead.
A fine-toothed metal eyelash comb will separate lashes to keep them clump free.
To really add pizzazz to your eyes, curl lashes, to neaten your lash line and flaunt mascara coated lashes!
