The Saddle Club girls are back!

The third season of the worldwide hit, The Saddle Club, has returned to TV and so has the famous books that started the whole phenomenon.

These books follow the adventures of best friends Carole Hanson, Stevie Lake, and Lisa Atwood, who live in the town of Willow Creek and ride at Pine Hollow Stables where they started the Saddle Club for a group for horse-crazy people like themselves.

Loving horses wasn't the only requirement for joining the group, these friends also believe in sticking together through thick and thin by helping each other out in all kinds of situations.

SHOW HORSE - THE SADDLE CLUB GOES FOR THE BLUE RIBBON!

The Saddle Club can hardly wait for the horse show in two weeks! Each of the three girls has her own personal goal for the show: Stevie wants to win in as many categories as she can, while Carole has vowed to beat Cam Nelson, a rider who's constantly boasting about her knowledge of horses. And Lisa's determined to ride the beautiful racehorse named Prancer, even though no one else thinks the horse is ready to compete. What Max, the manager at Pine Hollow Stables, asks for The Saddle Club's help sorting through some old riding costumes, Lisa, Carole, and Stevie quickly agree. In exchange for their help, Max has promised to get them tickets to the Capitol Horse Show in Washington, D.C., where the girls will get to see their old friend Dorothy DeSoto and her fianc‚, Nigel. At first, going through some old clothes doesn't seem like much fun, but then The Saddle Club comes up with a great idea: They'll use the old clothes to stage a wedding for Pine Hollow's handsome new stallion. And what better wedding date than the first of April . better known as April Fool's Day.

STABLE MANNERS - WHO KNOWS MORE ABOUT HORSES THAN THE SADDLE CLUB?

RANCH HANDS - A SUMMER TO REMEMBER

School is out for summer, and The Saddle Club has big plans. Lisa, Carole, and Stevie have been invited to Wyoming to work on a ranch and help run a Western riding camp. The girls are looking forward to a great summer of fun and riding until Lisa's parents break the terrible news: they want Lisa to come to Europe with them for a month. For Lisa, it's bad enough that she'll be missing the chance to work as a ranch hand-how will she survive for four whole weeks without her best friends Stevie and Carole, and horses to ride?

AUTUMN TRAIL - A FRIEND IN NEED

It's Thanksgiving time at Pine Hollow Stables, and the three members of The Saddle Club have each decided to do one good deed to celebrate the holiday. Stevie has offered to do some chores around the stable; Carole's invited stuck-up Veronica diAngelo to Thanksgiving dinner; and Lisa isn't sure what her generous act will be-until she realises that there's a special horse at Pine Hollow that really needs her.

They'll cure Max's "hay fever" by inviting all the eligible women they know to Pine Hollow's Fourth of July picnic. When she and the rest of The Saddle club head out West to visit their friend Kate Devine and star in a wild west show, Kate's dad agrees to sell Stewball, Stevie's favourite ranch horse. But as the day to bring Stewball back East draws nearer, Stevie begins to have second thoughts. Does a ranch horse really belong at Pine Hollow Stables?

RIDING LESSON - SIBLING RIVALRY

Carole Hanson has always wanted a brother or sister. So she should be delighted when her father tells her that thirteen-year-old Marie Dana will be staying with them for two weeks while Mrs Dana is out of town. But instead of being happy about her "temporary sister", Carole can barely contain her jealousy. Colonel Hanson is making a big fuss over Marie and Stevie and Lisa are planning a big party for Marie in the hayloft at Pine Hollow.
