Dear Dr. Kate,

Some of my friends and I would like to know that if you sleep in a bra is it true your boobs will not become saggy? We are 14 and 15, and we don't want to have saggy boobs!

Signed Worry Wart

Hi Worry Wart!

Don't go wearing your bra to bed! The main things that lead to saggy boobs are genetics, child birth and gravity. Bras are good while you're standing up to counter the effects of gravity – not so necessary when you're lying down though! You can't do much about the genetics side of things – basically just how you are made, and the child birth things affects different women in different ways – so you'll just have to wait and see!
