Liberty's House of Heels

Liberty lends its thoughtful and unique line of luxury to the distinctive new Shoe Boutique which will lead customers through a decadent house of heels with the department laid out like a maze of rooms housing shoes for every occasion. In an enchanting period home with a contemporary twist, Stella McCartney stilettos will sit upon an opulent chaise, whilst towering Westwood boots will take pride of place on an exquisite dining table, and sculptural creations by Nicholas Kirkwood nestle in the luscious -garden room'.

Working with the distinctive wood paneling of the historic building, rich colours inspired by antique velvets and picture galleries create a warm boudoir-like feel in the -drawing room' whilst bright neon signs lend an edgy contemporary mood in the -bedroom'. Mirrors, dining tables, beds and glass deco style cabinets all provide dramatic background for the unique shoe collection.

The department launches September 2008 and will stock many exclusive styles and will include designers such as YSL, Alexander McQueen, Azzedine Alaia, Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Giuseppe Zannoti, Rupert Sanderson, Moschino, Prada, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Chloe, Marni and Nicholas Kirkwood.
