What has been your biggest challenge in regards to acting?
Ashlea Stearn: The biggest challenge I've faced would have to be the doubt in the back of my mind that keeps telling me that I'm not good enough. But I have learnt that all you can do is your best, and at the end of the day, be happy knowing that you did all you could do.
What is a typical day like for you?
Ashlea Stearn: Well, four days a week I have uni. So, I wake up some time between 6.30am and 8am and walk to the bus stop to catch the bus. When I get to uni, I usually have a dance or drama class, which are usually pretty fun. Then, after that, it's a long 1.5-2 hour bus ride back home where there is usually some homework or housework for me to do, a cat or two to feed and lots of food to eat! Yum!
What's next for you?
Ashlea Stearn: Well, my uni course goes for three years, to get my Bachelor of Creative Arts (Drama/Dance), so I have a pretty busy few years ahead. After I finish the course I'd like to get a Diploma of Education, so I can teach dance and drama to secondary school students. All of this is only if I am not as successful in the acting industry as I hope to be. It's always good to have a backup plan. I am secretly hoping that people will see me on Neighbours at some point!
