Australia Zoo Offers FREE Entry to First Responders

Australia Zoo is honouring first responders for their remarkable dedication and hard work by offering them free entry on Friday, 26th February.

Australia Zoo matriarch Terri Irwin expressed her appreciation and gratitude towards the heroes that help us in keeping our community safe, and has also added doctors and nurses to the list of deserving warriors.

"We are grateful for our incredibly dedicated and hardworking first responders, doctors and nurses, who helped us in overcoming so many unexpected challenges, especially during the unprecedented year of 2020," Terri Irwin said.

"We would like to thank these brave men and women for everything that they do, and offer them an entire day at Australia Zoo to spend with their family and friends whilst meeting some of our loving zoo animals," she said.

Qualified personnel who are eligible for this offer include Fire Marshal, Firefighter, Volunteer Firefighter, Fire Communications Officer, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD), Land and Water Ambulance Paramedics, Workplace First Aid Dispatcher, Law Enforcement Officer, Royal Australian Corps of Military Police, Doctors and Nurses.

All Australian, international, paid and volunteer first responders, doctors and nurses, will be eligible for free entry upon showing a valid form of ID at the gates of Australia Zoo.
